At AD RescueWear, we know firsthand the suffering associated with eczema. Not only do both the owners at AD RescueWear have children with eczema, asthma and food allergies, but AD RescueWear also talks to parents with children with eczema on a daily basis. If you ever have questions on our Therapeutic Clothing for Childhood Eczema please call us at 1-800-838-4051. We would love to answer your questions or talk to you about your eczema child.
We recently spoke to the U.S. government at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in Baltimore, Maryland about the extreme suffering associated with having a child with eczema and how the disease is growing worldwide at epidemic proportions.
We asked the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid to consider giving the AD RescueWear Wrap-E-Soothe products coverable HCPCs codes so that families on Medicaid and families with insurance coverage can have our products covered to help with the financial burden of caring for a child with eczema. It can be so expensive for families with an eczema child. Doctor visits, including visits to multiple specialists, expensive prescription creams and hospitalizations from reoccurring skin infections are only a small list of costs associated with moderate to severe eczema. When you add the sleep deprivation onto the financial burden and frustrations of how relentless eczema can be, it can be overwhelming to families.

Our products are a wonderful tool for wet wrap therapy and dry wrap therapy for eczema, which are proven therapies for eczema, and have been advocated by doctors for 20 years as safe and effective treatments. When our products are used for the treatment of wet wrap therapy and dry wrap therapy, we become the treatment. We hope to receive coverable HCPCs code for our products so they can be available to more families who need them to successfully manage their child’s eczema.
If you would like more information on wet wrap therapy please visit http://www.adrescuewear.com/2014/02/10/wet-wrap-therapy-eczema/ and watch our video series on our homepage at www.adrescuewear.com. You can also visit The American Academy of Dermatology at http://www.skincarephysicians.com/eczemanet/wet_wraps.html. Ask your child’s doctor about wet wrap therapy for eczema. We recommend wet wrap therapy be done under the supervision of the child’s doctor.
If you are an AD RescueWear customer, we encourage you to contact your insurance company or your Medicaid representative to ask them to cover the AD RescueWear wet wrap therapy garments for the treatment of childhood eczema. There are currently 6.4 million children in the U.S. that are suffering from eczema. We hope a cure is on the horizon - but until then - eczema can only be managed and the Wrap-E-Soothe products are an excellent tool to manage the symptoms of eczema.
