We are so honored to have AD RescueWear as one of the companies featured in this recent New York Times article, "Search for Eczema Relief Leads to Business Opportunities". The article highlights companies started to help bring relief to the millions suffering with eczema. Most of the companies mentioned were started by people who have a personal experience with eczema.
Our son Harrison was photographed for the article while getting ready for hockey camp. He was a bit bummed at first as it was his first day of hockey camp and being photographed was going to cause him to be a bit late. But once he got suited up he forgot all about it and enjoyed showing others how to wear the Wrap-E-Soothe Sleeves. In the photo Harrison is wearing the Wrap-E-Soothe size small Eczema Sleeves Long for Arms and Legs on his legs and size medium Wrap-E-Soothe Sleeves on his elbow.
Truthfully, the experience really pumped up his confidence. He always feels different because of his eczema, food allergies and asthma. But, being able to show others it's possible to manage eczema and still look "cool" (his words!), and comfortable, really put a smile on his face!
We hope the article will help other kids and adults realize they aren't alone and there are products available to make life more bearable. If you have other products that help you or your eczema child feel more comfortable please share.
